Find another material for cardboards. Eliminate plastic pockets. A good alternative is to opt for rigid cardboard for names and bamboo lanyards with metal clips.
If you prepare the welcome pack in tote bags, choose organic cotton or recycled material.
#3 PAPER LESS
Try not to print. Send the invitations by email and register online, so 100×100 less paper. If you need to print material, make sure it is done on sustainably sourced paper.
#4 COFFEE & WATER
Propose to the attendees to bring their own reusable containers, for water, tea and coffee. A good idea is to put a purchase point of reusable packaging! There are a lot of providers!
#5 NO PACKAGING
Remove candies wrapped in plastic.
#6 WRITING MATERIAL
Choose sustainably sourced pencils.
Use plates, silverware and glassware or if necessary recycled paper.
Opt for coffee breaks with regional, non-industrial, organic and vegetarian products. Don’t forget to put vegan and celiac options!
Request the commitment of all exhibitors and partners participating in the event, to try to generate the least amount of waste.
#10 COMPENSATE THE CO2 EMISSIONS
And last but not least, trie to compensate the CO2 emissions of the complete event. We can organise to measure the CO2 emissions for your event. Just ask us!
We care about people and the environment and therefore apply environmental and social criteria within our company. For our clients we can organise more sustainable events upon request respecting the environment and taking into account the social and ecological impact thus making the event a success not only for the participants but also to create a better world. We work with suppliers that apply sustainability criteria and include social projects in our programmes which enable our clients to contribute to the local community. In our proposals we always indicate which activities are sustainable.
